This wonderful set of antique weighing scales are a lovely addition to a kitchen.
These scales date circa 1920s and are European in style, made by the English brand Tower but marked made in Germany. These scales would have been used in a household kitchen for weighing out produce and for baking.
Now these scales make a pretty and useful decoration to a kitchen.
The base and pan holder is painted its original black with embossed pattern detail. The face of the scale is in the original enamel white and is a little faded but still nice and clear enough. The pan is a tarnished brass metal. Two screws have been replaced at some point to the back.
In rustic vintage condition, chips and wear to the paint work, some wear to the face, they have a wonderful rustic patina! Perfect for a farmhouse styled kitchen!
